Native App Guidelines and Specs
Go Daddy’s native app enables their customers to manage their sites wherever and whenever. However, the design team needed to formalize the app’s core elements so they could better understand the app as a whole and know where improvements should be made.
By building comprehensive iOS and Android guidelines and specs, I provided the design team documentation that they could use to more efficiently improve the features and experience of the app. Providing descriptions of where and when to use core components based on Apple’s HIG and Google’s Material guidelines gave the team clarity on how to create an optimal user experience. The detailed specs provided standards for sizing, spacing, and alignment.
